As we reach the end of the year, it’s hard not to be nostalgic about my time at the University of Oxford.
Being a student at this wonderful institution has been one of the most intellectually challenging experience for me, which in turn has undoubtedly allowed me to become more conscious of the ever-changing and evolving world around me. From the application of Barney’s VRIO internal resource-based model through a 10-minute paper tower building class exercise to George Ellis’ biological complexity analysis on causation and how it all inextricably links to corporate strategy & innovation – it certainly feels as if I have escaped Plato’s Cave 😁😅.
I am forever grateful for all the tools that I’ve acquired and most importantly for the great bonds and friendships created. So to all my fellow students in my cohort (the best ever, by the way, just ask Teppo Felin 😊), I wish you the best of luck on the last exam and on the integrated assignment, and as for all the future Oxonians and “Teddies” at St Edmund Hall may this be your best scholastic experience!
