Organisational leadership at Oxford Saïd

Thoroughly enjoying the opportunity I have to study organisational leadership at the Saïd Business School in Oxford.

Supported by ISARIC’s (Federation of clinical research networks) Executive Committee and my Oxford scholarship I am being taught a wide range of models and concepts. Already I have been applying these as ISARIC goes through a strategic review and it continues to prepare and respond to infectious disease epidemics.

I also applied what I learned to the Oxford Master’s class in International Health regarding theories on leadership and teamwork during an outbreak simulation.

Equally stimulating is my class! I learn from their experiences and knowledge too. And, they are quite good fun! I love being exposed to people with completely different jobs to me. We were all so excited about wearing our Oxford sub fusc for our first exam last month. But went straight into Module two before a well earned glass of wine!
